Hey, I’m Jasmine! Welcome to my blog “Traveling Through Life With a Wine Glass Half Full”. I am super excited to share my travel stories with you! For me, traveling through life is a journey within itself. Life can sometimes get you down and you may encounter numerous stressful days. I believe it is all about perspective; keeping a positive attitude and open mind (seeing the glass half full rather than half empty) can really make a difference and help you though the toughest of times. One of the many things I pride myself on is being an optimistic person, so I’ve created this blog to help people get that same positive outlook on life and all it has to offer.
A friend of mine was once so excited to take a vacation to Los Angeles, California with her family, counting down the days and talking about it non stop. When she returned, I was on edge waiting to hear all the great stories, but to my surprise she ranted for a good 2 hours about how terrible the trip was! From the bad weather to the group disagreeing on places to go, to not being able to sight-see where she wanted and the list went on. Somewhere in between hour one and hour two of the rant, I thought to myself ‘hmmm, I’ve been fortunate enough to never have had this problem!’ I couldn’t think of one instance I have ever had a horrible time while on vacation. When I thought about it further, I realized it may not have to do with fortune, it is just about how you look at situations. We have to take what life gives us and make the best of it!
